Jon-Fredrik "Joffen" Hopland
Co-founder & Co-CEO
Jon-Fredrik “Joffen” Hopland is a Co-founder, Co-CEO and Software Engineer at Altek AI. Originally from Norway, Joffen moved to Los Angeles at age 20 to pursue a career as a professional drummer, touring the world and performing at major festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. His transition to software engineering was driven by his hunger for innovation, leading him to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.
With a strong background in generative AI, backend, and frontend development, Joffen's ability to think outside the box and his dedication to excellence make him a pivotal part of Altek AI. His work focuses on creating AI-driven solutions that revolutionize hotel operations and enhance guest experiences.
Kristoffer S. Pedersen
Co-founder & Co-CEO
Kristoffer S. Pedersen, Co-founder, Co-CEO and Software Engineer at Altek AI, combines entrepreneurial spirit with technical expertise. Before co-founding Altek AI, Kristoffer successfully ran a marketing business, working with over 30 companies on website development and marketing strategies. This experience, coupled with a Computer Science degree from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, has equipped him with specialized skills in generative AI, backend development, cloud hosting, and data analytics.
Kristoffer's strategic business thinking and technical skills are focused on creating innovative AI products tailored for the hospitality industry. His goal is to establish Altek AI as a leader in AI solutions that transform hotel operations and enhance guest satisfaction.

For the past 15 years, he has led the Norwegian Hospitality Group, overseeing complex projects and driving operational growth through strategic restructuring and personnel development. Erling’s ability to build strong relationships and develop new concepts has set new standards in the industry.
