ALTEK FOR OPERA CLOUD

The work behind every inquiry, done in Opera Cloud.

Altek connects to Opera Cloud through OHIP, Oracle's own API, with read and write access. The work behind every guest inquiry happens in Opera, and every action waits on your team's 30-second approval.

A guest asks for a price for November 4 to 6 2026 for two rooms. Opera Cloud returns the dates, two rooms for four guests and the best available price, and Altek prepares a personalised offer that waits for someone to approve it.
At a glance

Altek is an AI agent that connects to Opera Cloud through OHIP and does the operational work behind a guest inquiry — creating, modifying and cancelling reservations — with a human approving every action before it reaches the PMS.

What Altek will never do in Opera Cloud

The limits matter as much as the capabilities. These are hard boundaries, not settings that happen to default this way.

  • Never confirms anything in Opera Cloud without a person approving it first.
  • Never changes your rates, availability rules or policies.
  • Never acts outside the permissions you set, per action type and per property.
  • Never uses your guest data to train anything outside hospitality.
A REAL WORKFLOW

They mention the honeymoon. Altek offers the suite.

  • Suite availability and rate difference read from Opera Cloud
  • Upgrade offer drafted in the guest's language
  • The occasion noted on the guest profile
  • Staged as an offer; nothing changes until approved
Two guests arriving with luggage at a hotel front desk while the receptionist shows them something on a tablet: the arrival Altek's Opera Cloud operations clear the way for.

How do you connect Altek to Opera Cloud?

Three steps, none of them an IT project. Altek is part of Oracle’s hospitality integration partner program.

  1. 1Oracle provisions · days

Get OHIP access for the property

Altek connects through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, Oracle's documented API for Opera Cloud. No screen-scraping, no middleware, and no changes to how your Opera is set up.

  2. 2No migration

    Connect your channels

The inbox your reservations team already opens, plus WhatsApp or web chat if you use them. Nothing moves, nothing is rebuilt, and there is no new login.

  3. 3You stay in control

    Decide who approves what

Permissions per action type and per property. One hotel can approve modifications at the desk while another routes cancellations to a manager.

See it running on your Opera Cloud property

Tell us how your property is set up and we'll show you exactly what Altek would stage from a real guest email.

  • 30 minutes, no preparation needed
  • We use real guest emails from your property
  • No commitment and no follow-up spam

Opera Cloud + Altek FAQ

What Opera Cloud hotels and groups ask before connecting Altek.

Does Altek write to Opera Cloud or just read from it?
Both. Altek creates, modifies, and cancels reservations, adds guest notes, and sends payment links directly in Opera Cloud: write-back, not read-only. Every write is staged first and executes only after your team's approval, per the permissions you set.
How does Altek connect to Opera Cloud?
Altek connects through Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP), Oracle's published integration framework for Opera Cloud. Once access is provisioned and scoped to the property, Altek reads live data and stages operations through the same connection, with full read and write.
How long does setup take?
Days, not months. Once OHIP access is provisioned for the property, Altek connects and your team is handling emails with live Opera Cloud data the same week. Group rollouts go property by property, each inheriting the configuration from the last.
Which Opera Cloud data does Altek use, and can we control what it does?
Only what's needed for the email at hand: availability, rates, reservations, and guest profiles. Processing is EU-hosted and GDPR-first. Permissions are set per action type and per property, with human approval as the default for everything.
