FOR INDEPENDENT HOTELS

Stay with the guest. Not the inbox.

In an independent hotel, the same team often handles reception, phones, reservations and an inbox that never stops. Every email answered at the desk is time away from the guest standing in front of it.

Altek works inside the inbox you already use, preparing the answer and the work behind it from live hotel data before your team opens the inquiry. Your front desk reviews, approves and moves on.

of system work behind each inquiry, done before your team opens it.

The inbox pulls your team away from the lobby.

A small team with no dedicated reservations desk means the person answering emails is also checking guests in, taking calls, and running the desk. Every minute in the inbox is a minute not spent with the guest standing right there.

Altek starts inside the inbox you already use and does the work behind each inquiry, so your receptionist clears the inbox in seconds and gets back to the lobby. The point isn't replacing the human touch. It's giving your team the time to deliver it.

The inquiries worth getting to first

Four requests a small team sees every week, and exactly what Altek has waiting when you open them.

Guest inquiry

Do you have a double room for the 14th to the 16th, and what's the rate?

Prepared, waiting for approval
  • Live availability and rate for those exact dates
  • Reply drafted in your hotel's voice, in the guest's language
  • The reservation staged, ready to confirm

The guest gets the room, the price and a way to book it in the first reply, instead of a holding note and a promise to check. That is the reply an OTA cannot beat on convenience.

Altek AI frees up time for the team. Instead of sitting behind the computer writing emails, they can focus more on the guests we have in-house and be present at the front desk.

Independent hotels FAQ

What smaller properties ask before starting with Altek.

We're a small team, is this too big a system for us?
No. Altek starts inside the inbox you already use, so there is nothing new for staff to learn and no IT project to run. The lightest way in is Altek for Outlook, which drafts every reply in the thread and goes live in one to three hours. When you want Altek to carry out the work in your PMS as well, Altek Inbox does that.
What does it cost for an independent property?
One flat price per hotel per month, published on our pricing page, with a band sized for independent hotels rather than enterprise portfolios. There are no per-room, per-response or per-integration fees, so the number does not move when you get busy. Tools priced per room can work out cheaper for a very small property, and what you are paying the difference for is the work behind the reply: the reservation created or changed in your PMS, the restaurant table booked, the payment link sent, the follow-up when a quote goes quiet.
Is our guest data safe with a company we have not heard of?
Altek is listed on the Mews Marketplace, the Oracle Cloud Marketplace and the Microsoft Marketplace, all of which you can check yourself. Data is hosted in the EU under a GDPR-first model with a DPA available, access to your systems is least-privilege and set per action type, every action carries an audit trail, and a person approves anything that changes a booking. Altek serves hospitality only, so your guest data never trains another sector's product. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification are in progress.
What happens to our systems if we stop?
Nothing. Altek sits on top of the inbox and the PMS you already run, so there is no migration in and nothing to migrate out of. Your reservations, your rates and your mailbox are exactly where they were, and stopping simply means Altek stops preparing the work.
Will guests be able to tell it's AI?
Replies are drafted in your hotel's voice and a person approves every one before it goes out. Altek removes the typing and the system work, not the judgment or the personality.
What if we don't run Mews, Opera Cloud or Visbook?
You still start on day one with triage and drafting, which need only the inbox. Staged operations in the PMS follow when the connection is in place.
