What a faster answer is actually worth

Answer before the guest books elsewhere

High-intent guests get a real answer while they are still deciding. Speed can be the difference between a direct booking and losing the guest to an OTA.

Minutes,not tomorrow

Convert the demand you already have

Altek identifies valuable and urgent inquiries so high-value opportunities do not disappear behind routine questions.

High-valuefirst

Take the manual work out

Hopping between the PMS, the restaurant system and the spa system to settle one request stops being a job anybody does by hand.

5–15 minutesof system work, removed

Keep more bookings direct

An answer that arrives while the guest is still deciding, in their own language, at any hour, is a booking that never reaches a channel charging you commission on it.

Direct,not OTA

Every inquiry runs through the same engine

Whatever the request or channel, from email and web chat to WhatsApp, Altek follows the same four steps using live data from the hotel systems you already use.

  1. 01

    Understand

Altek identifies what the guest is actually asking for, including dates, room type, party size and multiple requests in the same message.

  2. 02

    Retrieve

It pulls the live availability, rates, reservation details, guest context and policies needed for that request.

  3. 03

    Personalise

It prepares the response in your hotel's voice, using the right room, offer and details for that guest and booking.

  4. 04

    Act

It carries out the work behind the request, from bookings and changes to upgrades, restaurant tables and payment links.

You control the level of automation.

For email, the AI agent can wait for your team to approve the actions before it executes them. On web chat and WhatsApp, it completes the request automatically: answering the question, applying the upgrade, or making the change to the booking. Permissions are configurable by property and action, and every action is logged.

Frequently asked questions

What does Altek do that a reply-drafting tool doesn't?
A draft is half the job. When a guest asks to add a night, the work is changing the reservation, adjusting the rate, and confirming it. Altek does the reply and that operational work as one thing, against your live systems.
What are the four steps?
Understand: Altek works out what is actually being asked, in 100+ languages. Retrieve: it pulls live availability, rates and the guest's history from your PMS. Personalise: it answers in your hotel's voice and to your policies, with the room and the offer that fit this guest. Act: it carries out the work the request implies, from a reservation change to a payment link.
Which channels does this work on?
Email, web chat and WhatsApp today, all running the same four steps on the same live data. SMS and phone are on the roadmap and are not live yet.
Does Altek act on its own, or does someone approve it?
It depends on the channel, and you set it. On web chat and WhatsApp the agent completes the request itself: answering the question, applying the upgrade, making the change against the booking. On email every action is prepared and waits for someone on your team to approve it before anything is sent or written. Permissions are set per action type and per property, with an audit trail on every action.
What happens if Altek isn't confident?
It escalates rather than guesses. The inquiry lands with your team with whatever context Altek could gather, and no action is taken.
How does it learn our tone and our policies?
From how your team already answers. Altek picks up your phrasing, your standard responses and your policies from your own reply history rather than from a form someone has to fill in, and it holds them per property. Guests get an answer that sounds like your hotel, in their own language.
How much does the team have to change?
Nothing about how they work. Altek runs inside Outlook or in Altek Inbox, and on the email desk the only new habit is reviewing prepared work before approving it. On the messaging channels there is nothing for the team to do at all.
Is guest data secure, and who can see what?
Access to your systems is least-privilege and set per action type and per property: Altek reads only what the request in front of it needs, what it may do on its own is a permission you grant, and every action is logged. Data is hosted in the EU under a GDPR-first model, with a DPA available. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification processes are in progress. Altek serves hospitality only, so your guest data never trains another sector's product. Full detail is on our security page at /security.
