ALTEK FOR VISBOOK & BOOKVISIT

The work behind every inquiry, done in Visbook & BookVisit.

Built in Norway, native to the systems Nordic hotels actually run. Altek reads rooms, restaurant, spa, add-ons and activities live from Visbook and BookVisit, and does the work behind every guest inquiry with your team's 30-second approval.

A guest asks to arrive a day earlier. Visbook returns the stay, November 4 to 6 2026 for two guests in a Deluxe King Room, and Altek prepares the re-priced change for approval with availability checked and the update prepared in Visbook.

What Altek will never do in Visbook

The limits matter as much as the capabilities. These are hard boundaries, not settings that happen to default this way.

  • Never confirms anything in Visbook without a person approving it first.
  • Never changes your rates, availability rules or policies.
  • Never acts outside the permissions you set, per action type and per property.
  • Never uses your guest data to train anything outside hospitality.
A REAL WORKFLOW

“Can we get a table on Saturday?” Booked with the stay.

  • The stay read live from Visbook
  • Table availability checked in your restaurant system
  • Both staged together; nothing is booked until approved
  • One reply covering the room and the table, in the guest's language
A host greets a couple at their table in a mountain lodge restaurant at dusk: the Saturday dinner Altek booked alongside their stay.

How do you connect Altek to Visbook?

Three steps, none of them an IT project. Altek is activated from your existing Visbook or BookVisit setup, and Visit Group lists it on the VISIT platform.

  1. 1Partner connection · days

    Connect Visbook or BookVisit

A partner connection, not an IT project. Your rates, units and workflows stay exactly as they are, and Visbook remains your system of record.

  2. 2No migration

    Connect your channels

The inbox your reservations team already opens, plus WhatsApp or web chat if you use them. Nothing moves, nothing is rebuilt, and there is no new login.

  3. 3You stay in control

    Decide who approves what

Permissions per action type and per property. One property can approve new bookings at the desk while another routes cancellations to a manager.

See it running on your Visbook property

Tell us how your property is set up and we'll show you exactly what Altek would stage from a real guest inquiry.

  • 30 minutes, no preparation needed
  • We use real guest emails from your property
  • No commitment and no follow-up spam

Visbook & BookVisit + Altek FAQ

What Nordic hotels ask before connecting Altek.

Does Altek write to Visbook and BookVisit or just read?
Both. Altek connects with full read and write access: it stages real operations (new reservations, modifications, cancellations), and your team approves them before anything changes.
Where is our guest data processed?
In the EU. Altek is built in Norway, EU-hosted, and GDPR-first. It uses only the data needed for the inquiry at hand: availability, rates, reservations, and guest profiles. Nothing is used to train models outside hospitality.
Can we control what Altek is allowed to do?
Yes: permissions per action type and per property, with human approval as the default for everything. Your team decides what Altek may stage; nothing is confirmed without a person saying so.
